In February 2012 Kay was awarded the Lifetime Achievement Award by the Christian Women in Media Association.Īrthur has led dozens of teaching tours to Israel.
Kay was recently awarded the National Religious Broadcasters Association “Best Television Teaching Award” for Precepts for Life, Precept Ministries’ half-hour television program. Four of her books have received the prestigious Gold Medallion Award. She has written over 100 books and Bible studies, with over ten million in print.
The ministry produces a variety of different Bible studies which are used in nearly 180 countries and 70 languages to help establish people in God’s Word.Īrthur was awarded the prestigious NRB Hall of Fame Award at the 2011 National Religious Broadcasters Convention and Exposition. Kay Arthur and her husband, Jack, founded Precept Ministries for the sole purpose of engaging people in relationship with God through knowing His Word.
